TERRY JOHNSON's work has been performed all over Great Britain and worldwide. He is the recipient of ten major British theatre awards including the Olivier Award Best Musical Revival 2009, Olivier Award Best Comedy 1994 and 1999, Playwright of the Year 1995, Critics Circle Best New Play 1995, two Evening Standard Theatre Awards, Writers Guild Best Play 1995, Writers Guild Best play 1996, the Mayer-Whitworth Award 1993 and the John Whiting Award 1991. Terry's production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES on Broadway won the 2010 Tony Awards for Best Direction of a Musical and Best Revival of a Musical. It has won Outer Critics Circle Awards for Outstanding Revival of a Musical and Outstanding Director of a Musical 2010.
Productions include: THE PRISONER OF SECOND AVENUE, END OF THE RAINBOW, THE RISE AND FALL OF LITTLE VOICE, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, RAIN MAN, WHIPPING IT UP, ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, HITCHCOCK BLONDE, ENTERTAINING MR SLOANE, THE GRADUATE, DEAD FUNNY, HYSTERIA, ELTON JOHN'S GLASSES and THE MEMORY OF WATER in London's West End. He has twice worked with Steppenwolf Theatre directing John Malkovitch in THE LIBERTINE, which was nominated for five Jeff Awards, including Best Production, and LOST LAND.
He has written and directed television drama that has been broadcast worldwide, most recently NOT ONLY BUT ALWAYS for Channel Four, which won five International Award nominations, Best Film at Banff, and a Bafta for Rhys Ifans. He wrote and directed COR BLIMEY! for ITV. He also wrote THE BITE for the BBC and ABC Australia. His film WAY UPSTREAM was chosen for the London Film Festival and INSIGNIFICANCE was the official British Entry at Cannes in 1985.
He is Literary Associate at the Royal Court Theatre where he previously directed Joe Penhall's play DUMB SHOW and opened his play PIANO/FORTE. He is exceedingly proud that his play HYSTERIA is featured on a Royal Court Theatre 50th Anniversary mug.

PETER LAWRENCE
Director
Peter Lawrence has been Associate Director or Production Supervisor for SHREK, SPAMALOT, SUNSET BOULEVARD and for the Broadway revivals of GYPSY, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN and MAN OF LA MANCHA.
Mr. Lawrence was the Executive Producer for MISS SAIGON and LES MISERABLES, and has directed or re-staged the U.S. Tours of SPAMALOT, THE GRADUATE, SOCIAL SECURITY, BROADWAY BOUND, RUMORS, LOST IN YONKERS, SUNSET BOULEVARD, SPAMALOT London and the Asian tour of MISS SAIGON.
He has originated twenty Broadway productions as Production Stage Manager, and has taught in the Drama Departments of Transylvania College, The University of Hawaii and Columbia University.
